A time to come… A simplified definition i attained from the Oxford Dictionary on future. So what is your future worth today? A friend of mines said negative 300,000 JMD; some said hope, others not much. For the not people i had to correct, your future is most important right at this moment. Think of yourself as a farmer growing in your garden a mustard seed. Couple years down the line you will find a majestic tree in your garden. Now this tree can be a great success or disappointment. This tree is your future, future-self; the garden represents the present and the watering of the garden would be your practices. We are beings of habits, and what we practice now and continue to do will become incremented in us and who we are.
Each of us are working towards our goals, careers, families whatever it may be. Now ask yourself are u prepare, if not what are you doing to get there? I cant advise anyone to be easy going if they have goals for the future. What is can do though is give u a simplistic template…. analyze, plan then execute.
The analyst is important in order for you to know where you are right now. Analyze all aspect pertaining you and find the problem/s, whether it may be lack of self control, missing a qualifications, and i’m sure you can name a few more easily of the dome. Do a self assessment to find the flaws and strengths. Without an idea of where you stand, the next step you make could be just as useless as be stagnant.
From your analyst you now know your strengths and weakness. This is what you can base the starting of your plan from. See what you can do to overcome your flaws and how you can maximize on strengths now to reach closer to your goals. Think of all the opportunities you have present as well, can they help you? It’s also a plus to prepare for the unexpected as well, like example losing your job… Nothing is wrong with a rainy day savings account. It is always wise to plan, its a guideline on how you approach a mission. Striving in the future without a plan is like walking onto a battlefield without a weapon, u may or may not be killed. Its never wise to put your all into luck.
Napoleon Hill, “ready or not put your plan into action“. I said it somewhere before that we are beings of habits and if we procrastinate today we may do it tomorrow and the day after and so on. So what i am trying to say is you control your future, dnt wait for it to happen for it neva will…
